I had a wonderful trekking experience to Rakaposhi basecamp under the guidance of Azafar and Ishaq. If you have more time, you should also consider some beautiful and under-explored trekking places nearby such as Kho and Charkin near Minapin, or Gappa and Daiter valleys near Bar. I explored many of these places with my favourite guide and friend Ishaq who works for Tour de Rakaposhi and is the most honest and helpful person I have ever met during my many trips to Pakistan. I can also very much recommend Azafar, the founder of this tour company who is very well-organised, reliable and always fair. The young men running Tour de Rakaposhi belong to the beautiful village of Minapin, a popular place among foreign tourists, and they are very knowledgeable about the wider region and well-connected to other parts of the country. You will be able to learn a lot from them on your travels and they can give you unique insights into the local culture and traditions. Most importantly, Tour de Rakaposhi will make sure that you have a very enjoyable trip.
